On October 1, National Automotive Industry Day recognizes the pioneers, innovations, and dedicated professionals who have shaped how we travel. For Rohrich Automotive Group, it is also an opportunity to celebrate the people and principles behind more than a century of serving drivers.
The day holds historical significance because on October 1, 1908, the first mass-affordable car model went on the market. Within the first week, thousands were sold to families and individuals across America.
Before this, cars were not readily available to the public due to long manufacturing times and high prices. Implementing the assembly line method changed production rhythms, allowing companies to produce a higher volume of vehicles. It was not until the late 20th century that machine production was introduced in factories.
This year, Automotive Industry Day is followed by National Manufacturing Day, which is observed on the first Friday of October. Without skilled manufacturers, engineers, and laborers across the country, the automotive industry would not be where it is today.
Recognition also goes beyond those inside the factory. Dealership teams, sales consultants, service technicians and aftermarket suppliers get people behind the wheel and aid in keeping them there.
Since 1923, Rohrich Automotive Group has understood that customers have a choice in where they purchase and service their vehicles. Earning their trust starts with a team committed to honesty, integrity, and attentive service. We are truly grateful to every member of our Rohrich Automotive team whose dedication and genuine care help create an exceptional customer experience. It is their efforts that strengthen the relationships at the heart of our business and help keep the automotive industry moving forward.
